This will involve the establishment of specialized training units that offer carefully designed training programs to meet the needs of various sectors. These programs will equip young people with the skills and competencies necessary to effectively enter the workforce, empower them to achieve their professional aspirations, and contribute to building a promising economy for the Kingdom.
Responsibilities in this strategic partnership are distributed as follows: The General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training will provide the organizational and oversight framework, as well as logistical and technical support. The private sector, on the other hand, will be responsible for developing training programs and providing the necessary financial and human resources.
The National Center for Strategic Partnerships was established to implement the Cabinet's decision approving the regulatory rules for creating non-profit training units in the technical and vocational training sector. The center aims to build an integrated relationship between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, the Human Resources Development Fund, and strategic partners from both the public and private sectors. This collaboration is to establish non-profit training units offering employment-based training programs to meet partners' needs for qualified personnel in specialized fields.
The general training plan for the institution, which includes adopting training programs designed, presented and approved by specialized international bodies, and building strategic partnerships with internal and external training bodies to operate training units and institutes and provide joint training programs with the private sector.
