Riyadh - On Monday, May 29, 2023, Almarai Company hosted the 'Success Partners 2023' forum under the theme 'Localization as a Strategic Goal,' celebrating the triumph of its initiatives in localizing jobs and engaging Saudi youth. The event honored key contributors from both public and private sectors, including the National Center for Strategic Partnerships, acknowledged for its pivotal role in the success of localization endeavors and youth engagement initiatives.
During the ceremony, attended by Almarai's CEO, Abdullah bin Nasser Al Badr, alongside leaders and officials from diverse sectors, the company underscored its commitment to localization. Almarai boasts over 9,000 Saudi employees, with inclusivity efforts extending to over 800 Saudi female employees and more than 500 employees with disabilities.
Highlighting Almarai's exemplary performance, Al Badr noted the company's high platinum and green ratings in the private sector's Nitaqat program for job localization, achieved through comprehensive training programs totaling nearly half a million training hours in 2022 and resulting in a commendable 90% employee retention rate.
Fahad bin Mohammed Aldrees, Almarai's Chief Human Resources Officer, emphasized the collaborative efforts in building and nurturing qualified national talent across various sectors, reaffirming 'Localization as a Strategic Goal.'
The forum concluded with a dialogue session exploring future localization strategies and a ceremony honoring entities pivotal to Almarai's localization success.
Almarai, a leading employer in the Middle East with over 40,000 employees, has received accolades for its professional business environment, including ranking third in LinkedIn's top 15 workplaces for professional development in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
