Saudi Media Academy Granted Professional License

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Saudi Media Academy, a training institute under the Ministry of Information, has been granted a professional license by the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training. This license allows the academy to operate as a non-profit training establishment, offering specialized programs to enhance and develop the skills of media professionals in the Kingdom.

The granting of the license marks a significant milestone for the Saudi Media Academy, as it reinforces its commitment to providing high-quality training and education in line with the latest industry trends and best practices. The academy's programs are designed to meet the evolving needs of the media sector in the digital age, equipping media professionals with the necessary knowledge and expertise to thrive in a rapidly changing landscape.

Strengthening Partnerships for Media Excellence

The Saudi Media Academy's license was granted following the signing of a memorandum of understanding  between the Ministry of Information and the Excellence Colleges Company, under the supervision of TVTC. This collaboration aims to strengthen joint cooperation between the parties, identify areas of integration, and promote sustainable development in the media sector.

In his opening speech at the Saudi Media Forum's third edition, His Excellency the Minister of Information, Mr. Salman bin Youssef Al-Dawoodri, emphasized the Saudi Media Academy's pivotal role in aligning the Kingdom's media sector with the digital transformation era. The academy's specialized training programs are tailored to meet the demands of the digital age, ensuring that media professionals possess the necessary skills to navigate the evolving media landscape effectively.
