The Saudi-Japanese Automobile High Institute is considered the first non-profit institute in the Kingdom. It also serves as a symbol of the long-standing relationship and fruitful cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Japan, receiving support from the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI), Japanese car distributors in the Kingdom participating in the institute (JADIK), and the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA).
